How to make it go:

1. Make sure you have at least the Java 1.1 runtime libraries installed on your machine. If you aren't seeing a giant "Press me to connect!!" button above this text, go here and click the big green image that says "Free Download".
2. If a security warning pops up asking you if you trust JWIRC, click "Yes". Or click "No" and see how far that gets you.
3. Enter a nickname where it says "Nick". Make it funny, because you're here to amuse us.
4. Leave everything else alone, and click the giant button that says "Press me to connect!!". If you can't find that button, we don't want to chat with you.
5. Now wait and be patient while it finds a server.
6. If for some reason the chat window just keeps displaying a bunch of technical garbage but won't connect to the chat room, post in the messageboards and we'll see if we can help you out.
